  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes. AMZ Concrete Inc. is a licensed C-8 concrete contractor, CSLB #1127615, bonded and carrying workers’ compensation on every job. Look us up on the state’s website any time — we’d rather you check.

  • How thick does an RV pad need to be?

    Usually five to six inches over a well-compacted base, with reinforcement. A standard patio is four inches — an RV pad is not a patio. We size it to what you are actually parking on it.

  • Can you extend my existing driveway for RV parking?

    Yes. We key the new pour into the old slab so the two move together instead of separating, and we match the finish so it does not look like an add-on.

  • How long before I can park on the new pad?

    Walk on it after about 24 hours, park a car after seven days, and park the RV or trailer after 28 days when the concrete has reached full strength. We leave you the dates before we go.

  • Can it be too hot or too cold to pour concrete?

    Yes. Above about 85°F concrete sets too fast, and below 40°F it cures too slowly. We adjust the mix, the pour time and the curing to the weather — early-morning pours in summer, blankets in winter — so the finish and the strength come out right.
