We Specialize In:

At AMZ Concrete, flatwork is the bulk of what we do — driveways, patios, walkways, sidewalks, side yards and slabs, formed, prepped, poured and finished by our own crew across Beaumont, the Pass and the Inland Empire. We specialize in:

  • Concrete Driveways & Approaches – Poured over a properly compacted base, at the right thickness, with control joints where they belong. That is what decides whether you are calling somebody back in five years.
  • Patios & Backyard Slabs – Broom, smooth or stamped finish, sloped to drain away from the house, sized for the furniture and the shade you actually use.
  • Walkways, Side Yards & Steps – Clean lines, turf or rock borders if you want them, and steps that meet code so nobody trips.
  • Stamped & Colored Concrete – The look of stone, brick or slate with the strength and price of concrete.
  • Slabs & Foundations – Shed pads, garage slabs, ADU footings and slab-on-grade, poured to plan and to code.

SERVICE OVERVIEW

A driveway that lasts is not about the concrete alone. It is the base underneath it, the thickness, the reinforcement, and where the control joints go. AMZ Concrete gets those right, because that is what decides whether you are calling somebody back in five years.

We pour broom finish, smooth finish, stamped patterns and integral color, and we match new work to what is already there when we are only replacing a section. One licensed crew forms it, preps it, pours it and finishes it — and cleans up before we leave.

POPULAR QUESTIONS

  • Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. AMZ Concrete Inc. is a licensed C-8 concrete contractor, CSLB #1127615, bonded and carrying workers’ compensation on every job. Look us up on the state’s website any time — we’d rather you check.

  • How thick should a concrete driveway be?

Four inches over a properly compacted base handles cars and light trucks. If you park an RV, a dually or a work trailer on it, we go to five or six inches and add reinforcement. We tell you which one your job needs when we walk it.

  • How long before I can drive on new concrete?

Walk on it after about 24 hours, drive a car on it after seven days, and park anything heavy after 28 days. We leave you with the dates before we go.

  • Can it be too hot or too cold to pour concrete?

Yes. Above about 85°F concrete sets too fast, and below 40°F it cures too slowly. We adjust the mix, the pour time and the curing to the weather — early-morning pours in summer, blankets in winter — so the finish and the strength come out right.

  • Do you tear out the old driveway?

Yes. Break-out, haul-off and disposal are part of the job, and the price we give you includes it — no dumpster to rent and no second company to chase.

  • Do you give free estimates?

Always. We come out, measure it, and give you a written price before anything starts. Call or text (909) 848-3090 — se habla español.
